Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) is a powerful and effective approach to personal
and professional growth and development. It uses horses not as tools, but
as active participants that help facilitate the learning experience for
individual or group participants. Learning at Equine ExperientialSM involves
experiential activities done with a horse or horses. By examining
equine behavior, and how the horses may or may not react to us, we can better
understand what may be more effective in our own human relationships. The
activities, how you approach the various tasks, and what surfaces for you in the
process, becomes a metaphor for other areas of your life. The experiences with
the horses can be used in many ways including:

a Florida Certified Psychology Instructor an iPEC Certified
Professional Coach, an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner, and Certified
Equine Professionals that strive to deliver effective and profound learning experiences
for everyone. Our workshops can help grow emotional (EQ) and social

instead our perspective and
focus is an experiential learning environment facilitated by certified
educational and equine instructors. We work with you to align programs to

Horses are a mirror to your soul and give you a chance to determine if what
you are seeing reflected is the person you want to be. With the help of the
horses, you will find those parts of you that are hidden and bring them to light
in a healing and loving way. Imagine waking up every morning excited to start
your day, knowing you can handle anything that happens with a sense of ease.
Horses live in the moment and encourage you to live in the moment with them
while they teach you insights about yourself. Their wisdom is something that
cannot be explained, only experienced. They do not care where you have come from
or where you are going; they care only about how you are when you are with them.
Horses are large, but nevertheless easily frightened, prey animals whose
survival has depended on becoming exquisitely sensitive to body language,
innuendo, and emotional tone, and to the position and movement of objects in
their sensory fields. Horses react to signals and intents of which we aren’t
even aware; much less aware that we’re communicating outward. Horsemanship
requires an appreciation of the non-verbal as well as verbal messages that we
give to others. Because horses react to the most subtle human signals, they hold
up a magnifying mirror to ourselves and our behaviors. In this mirror we see the
image and path for our professional development and our personal growth.
Humans have been interacting with horses for centuries. These intelligent,
sensitive, social creatures have instincts for relationships that help them live
in harmony with each other and their world. They are honest and truthful and
expect the same from those who interact with them. At one time, horses were a
part of almost every household and family, but in recent decades, the balance,
strength and wisdom learned from these magnificent animals has been lost to
many. But today through our programs, horses can once again become our teachers
and our healers.

We do everything possible to reduce the risk of physical or emotional harm.
While there is always the inherent risk and possibility of physical injury when
working with live animals, we include equine specialists (ES) with every program.
The ES focuses on proactively reading our horse’s cues and behaviors. However, because of the unpredictable nature of horses and ranch life, in order
to participate in any of our programs, a completed release form must be on file
or filled-in and signed upon arrival. Equine activities are governed by
Florida Statue
releasing equine activity sponsors or equine professionals from liability.
Safety is important to us so only well-qualified, friendly horses are used
for these activities. The horses are free during most of the activities, they
are able to be themselves and interact with people as they choose. Trust and
respect is part of creating an effective learning environment, a place that
allows for personal and group awareness, innovation and change. We never force
anyone to participate but most people find they trust us and our horses once
they’ve met us and our herd.
Activities are done on the ground and no horse experience
is necessary.

EVERYONE!!! At Equine ExperientialSM our vision is to offer healing, hope and
growth in one's personal and professional life. With the use of horses, we
encourage the participants with professional coaching, mentoring or counseling
to help fully establish family or team dynamics. For those searching to expand
their awareness, refresh with nature and find their truth with the help of our
herd, we offer group coaching and interactive education with the horses in the
form of fun yet enlightening workshops.
The special bond between horses and humans has the power to build integrity,
confidence and self-awareness into the hearts of both children and adults. As

Our activities are all outdoors so wearing appropriate
clothing is important. We always recommend dressing for the weather in this
beautiful Florida outdoor experience. Layers of clothing work best. Also,
wearing close-toed, flat-soled shoes is a must! Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind
getting a little dirty with some dust and horse hair.

Equine ExperientialSM has a gorgeous location in Ocala, Marion County's
Horse Capitol of the World. We are in south
Ocala by the Florida Horse Park off Hwy
475. We are easily accessible to
Levy, Alachua, Lake, Citrus, Putnum and Sumter County, but we serve participants from anywhere.
When coming in from outside of Florida, Equine ExperientialSM is within 25 minutes
of the Ocala Airport; 45 minutes from the Gainesville
Airport and just over 1 hour from the Orlando International Airport.
Our facility is within minutes of several motels/hotels. We will
provide you with detailed driving directions to the facility when you book a workshop with us.

We book all group sessions on a "as needed" basis. Each clinic is
specifically tailored to meet your individual group need! We work
with groups ranging from just a few to up to fifty. However, larger groups
are broken down into smaller ones to enhance each individual’s learning
experience.
